Sample Entry: Welcome to the Journal

This is a sample entry, created to show you exactly how a finished journal piece will appear on the site. Everything you see here — the title, the date, the category, this text — comes from a simple block of text in one file.

The journal is designed for essays and reflections of any length. Write as many paragraphs as you like; each one becomes a comfortably spaced block of text like this one. The reading time you see near the top is calculated automatically from what you write.

When you're ready to publish your first real entry, open src/data/journal.ts, replace this sample with your own words, and save. Your entry will appear on the Journal page and get its own shareable web address automatically.
